Hello guys!

You see, today I'm here to talk with you about my day :)

I'm trying to post every single day, even tho that's not really happening..

But anyway, today I managed to update so, here it is :)

Today, I didn't had to wake up that early, because I just have classes at 10am so, it was cool :)

I had PE right in the morning.. I was hoping not having it, but I didn't have much luck and we had the class..

We played rugby and it was kinda fun actually :P

Then, I had lunch 'out' because it was my mum's friend's dad's birthday xD (i hope you're not confused xD)

and I get to eat that wonderful cheesecake that they have in that restaurant :) I want to that same restaurant on my birthday and I had cheesecake for the dessert too and I loved it so so so much that I had to have it this time again :) Even tho I'm on diet xD

Anyways.. then, I had multimedia workshop class, which was cool too.. and then I came home, have been on the computer and stuff..

Just a few minutes ago 5SOS did a twitcam :) It was a short one, but it was cool :) They told us some news :) The SLSP music video is coming out on Monday, what is pretty exciting :)

And, apart from that, they talked about an European Tour, that is going to happen soon :) and they gave us some sneek peeks of some of the songs from the EP +.+ I'm sooo excited :D

This is REALLY an amazing year :)

So, yeah.. that was pretty much what I had to tell you :)

Tomorrow is finally Friday :) WOOP WOOP I don't have anything planned for the weekend.. I'm hoping to go shopping, because I wanna go to the last days of sales :P

Now, I'm just going to stay here until it's time to go to bed :P

Making space project week # 1

The first in our series of workshops explored the memories (and fun) of childhood den building and the imaginary worlds within them. Using only bamboo cane, tape, polythene dust sheets and clothes pegs, we constructed four tent like spaces to explore. With the use of lights and projections, we transformed the mysterious teepees into mesmerising environments to experience. 

We used simple materials to construct the basis of our super-structures, and then experimented with projection using a portable 3000 lumin projector, running the VJ software Resolume Arena.  We tried projecting both from the inside and onto the dens, creating magical, flickering worlds, that we could explore from the outside and within.  We particularly liked the way that the polythene diffused the light, blurring the colours and shadows cast by us, and created a dream-like environment for us to traverse through.  We then progressed onto incorporating bright white LED spot lights, which lit up our structures and illuminated them in all their glory.
