From virtual errors and dataflow saturation… SHIFT IT HAPPENS

This is my latest Live Cinema project, please take a look…

SHIFT IT HAPPENS is a live audiovisual experience that arises from  error  and the saturation of virtual data as a creative approach.  Exploring glitch in order to evidence the code behind the operating system and discover a deeper reality.

It is through electronic music, experimental singing, videoart, and a multimedia intervention in situ, that it aim´s to making evident the vulnerability of a system, and to recover the human side in the search of transcendence beyond digital contamination.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Radha Murillo mezzo-soprano singer and professional contemporary dancer. Has presented in various experimental forums, original scenic proposals that combine voice and movement. Actually she is part of Aramara Performance y Nortec Collective: Hiperboreal.

Alejandro Isassi. Musician from Monterrey, founder of the independent record label Happy-fi, member of the experimental rock bands “Niña” y “D3ndron”.

Vj Thai is Roxana Barraza, Media artist. Her work explores the fussion of contemporary video with installations, music, dance, and performance. Founder of the interdisciplinary collectives Media Selectah, Sistema Local y Aramara Performance.

Media Selectah is a multidisciplinary studio that specializes in creating audiovisual site especific experiences , like exhibitions, interventions, and happenings that combine local talent, creativity, music, video art and technology.
