I dropped out of highschool and had to finally get my GED, impossible to find jobs.

I didn't intend to come off like I thought someone like you was unacceptable, but the school system failed you, and THAT'S unacceptable. I think that advocacy and thought are better spent trying to 1) FIX that system (not do away with it) and 2) Help get you back to school. We shouldn't be guiding you into a career under the pretenses of "there are OTHER options" while denying you the many MORE options degree recipients have.

College Can Be For Everyone.

Not too long ago, it was custom for children from low-income homes to get jobs instead of completing highschool. I think we can all agree that nowadays not having a high school diploma or a GED isn't really acceptable. It can be the same ideology for a degree.
