After I tweeted Marie Claire about the outdated definition of bisexual in the original version of this article, the writer, Ally Head, reached out to me. She apologized, was very open to feedback, and we had a really productive conversation. Here’s take 2!

Couldn’t go to Pride this year because of a family emergency. But I saw another cosplayer create a collage of themselves using pictures with colors from parts of the flag and wanted to do it as well. I’m not out to everyone but my sexual orientation is very important me. I love men. I love Women. I have fallen in love with non-binary and GenderQueer individuals. I am not heterosexual when I am with a man. I am not a lesbian when I am with a woman. This is me. I love who I love. And I am happy with that. I am so excited to do more cosplay adventures this year. Perhaps this collage will grow in the future for next pride.
