Top 5 songs for creating music videos in your head?
Cu I hope you recognise that you have asked the Impossible of me, and there are too many of those to count.
with that said i'll just go with my most Recent.
/clears throat.
Sad Machine by Porter Robinson I had a very Toonkind-themed mental music video about the campaign my characters went on, with this song in mind. The perspective is from the Sparks (in general, not just M1-A and C0-D3) and their relationship about their creator, the Great Machine. I view the lighthearted instrumentals near the final chorus is M1-A and C0-D3 meeting people who care for them - and moving their trust to them in turn.
Undefeatable from Sonic Frontiers So before we got the banger that was "Everything Burns" in the recent FFXIV update, I turned to this song (and still do) for my WoL's Aggressive Hype song. Except this song starts with being about Ardbert, and then moving on to being about my WoL, Ash'li - specifically from the part 'And when the story ends, it becomes a part of me.' It helps there are some parallels in their choruses. 'And you can throw me to the wolves' = Cylella & Gaius, for instance. Maybe I'll animatic some of it.
Away from Final Fantasy XVI the song that nearly got me to play FFXVI (i watched the cutscenes instead). Of course, I linked it all to the Final Fantasy a couple games back and made it be for the AU I have buried about Ysayle, Haurche, Moenbryda and Papalymo partying up to help against a foe in the center of the planet. And Grandpa Louie, the Phoenix, might be lending them a hand - but he may need to fight through some memories of theirs, first. It's unstable, down in the Lifestream, and souls with regret can be twisted... 4. Lake Guardians (Battle! Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf), the Braxton Burks orchestral rendition. This song's probably haunted me in some way shape or form since I heard it originally from my DS. But I've always associated it with my OCs, Cigul and Miral, since they were created - something something small feylike mystical beings who have potential for great power, etc. The added energy and fanfare that this cover gives gave me a setting with Neygau, an OC who can be far more fierce. Let's see them all team up for a more action-y sequence for this number. 5. Olive Branch by Sepiatonic So this one manifested in the peak of my Subway Masters obsession (and also after the Lackadaisy pilot blew me away). I could imagine a fun duet between Emmet and Ingo, with very stark black and white visuals/silhouettes and Pokemon Battling in the subway. 'Gotta get me home' takes on another meaning with Legends: Arceus - and manifests in Legends: ZA. They sing the second chorus after a timeskip.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed me being cringe on main.
