Sometimes, we have this grand plsn of what we want out of life, sometimes it happens others it so far from what we are actually living it scares us. I was taking it to a journalist yesterday about my story. How I got to where I am today. It’s so far from my life plan that often I can’t believe I get to live this life. I didn’t want kids, I wanted to live in the city, be a graphic designer, marry a man with an accent. (I blame @antanddec for this) Yet now. I have twins, twice, I’m more messy creative than perfect graphic design. I live in rural Notts with my husband who lived up the hill from me when I was a kid. So no accent there. Like I get to live this life yet I never planned any of it. So why then do we bang on about planning all of the time? Planning for our goal, planning for summer, planning our perfect birth. Because with out that plan we have no direction, I wanted to be a graphic designer so on my work experience I liked for something creative, a local company, a family company, my now husbands family actually. I would never have met him. He would never have met me, I’d never have. Been his stalker 🤣(another story) He wouldn’t have shown me what family life could be like, I would never have met my amazing friends @emmaolechnowicz @oneaboutsue @helen_b32 had that plan not been created in the first place. Now I believe everything happens for a reason & while it’s not the plan I had in mind the direction was always there. #directionandplanning #mumlife #mumoftwinstwice #motherhood #marriedmyteencrush #businessowner #homemaker #mumof4 https://www.instagram.com/p/Cfay8rhMz41/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
