alright, i’ve filled the queues of the new blogs with headcanons and i’ll be lurking here and over on those blogs until sunday, when the queue runs out here and i’ll be over on the other blogs fully.

all other muses are being dropped for the time being. feel free to follow one, both, neither--it’s up to you! i’ll be working on following people back over the next few days.
just a heads up, but i do plan on moving blogs within the next week or two. my goal is to give everything a last reply here, then split my marvel muses to one multi and my da muses to a second multi. i’ll post here when the blogs are ready, rn i still need to figure out tags and migrate some headcanons and the like so i don’t blow up anyone’s dash
alright, i figured out what i wanted to do and i shook up the muse list. the tl;dr of it is i dropped bigby and raven, and moved a slew of characters into being by request/plot only. you can check out my rules for a full list! i will still be keeping any threads i have going with all my muses--just going forward, the ones in the ‘plot only’ category will require plotting (which, as always, doesn’t have to be super complex, simple ‘what-if’s are good too).

so my problem is that i still enjoy writing the muses i moved to be by request only, but it’s hard for me to figure out their voice, and my writing energy for them doesn’t seem to lend itself towards unplotted threads--or at least threads where the investment isn’t mutual--or they’re only available under highly specific circumstances. for instance--i love writing duncan, but he’s really only available pre-da:o and da:o, and most of my random interactions tend to fall into a lot of the emotional motivation falling onto my partner, not me. which is fine! sometimes that happens with threads. but in general, duncan doesn’t have time for all this angst and he doesn’t care (to a degree, but that’s a whole post). so i feel very limited when writing him at times, and if i were to write him more, i’d want to plot out things--more into his “i’m not dead” aus and such. same kind of boat for thane--i’m down for writing me2 stuff, but unlike other squadmates who either live thru me3 or are in me1, there’s not a huge window of interactions.
so since i had an overwhelming number of muses that kind of fell into that category--of ‘i love writing them’ but also ‘i want more advancement than i’m currently getting in random interactions’--i decided that rather than giving them the boot, i’ll put them as by request, plot only. and like i always say--the plot doesn’t have to be anything deep or long or complex! it just needs to be a specific idea that we both feel invested in and excited for--it could be going grocery shopping or some spy-movie-esque mission! i just wanna know that you’re intrested and i’m interested and that we’ve both got something we like going on.
