Hey guys I’ve got a new writer’s blog

I now have a blog for all my fanfiction at alphawave-writes so if you wanna help me out and support me there, I’d be super happy!

I’m mostly going to be giving updates about my writing and how it’s going for the time being, as well as the newest chapters for my current piece, DPD, as I go along.

A summary of why the announcement of WO4 is disappointing to hear

1) It took staff away from DW9 to work on this game. DW9 had a relatively small amount of people working on it for an open world game and now we know why. The rest are all freaking working on porting Hyrule warriors to switch and making WO4

2) The use of DW8 assets compared to DW9 assets suggest this game started development before DW9...THINK ABOUT IT. This spin off game probably has more time to polish than Dynasty Warriors 9 and THAT is absolutely horrible to think about.

3) The open world formula and combat of DW9 will almost certainly be gone, to be replaced with the older stages and triangle attacks of previous games. No matter what people say, the move to go open world was a good idea. Perhaps it was not well actualised (see point 1) but it has a lot of potential for a series like this. I really can’t go back to the old formula now. RIP grappling hook, you will be sorely missed.

Finally 4) Unless I got confirmation otherwise, WO4 will probably be jap dub only. RIP those who like the chinese dub and the sweet, tender few (aka me) who like the english dub. Japanese dub is OK but the ability to change the voices to a language of your preference really does make a difference.

Also Japanese Liu Shan ain’t got nothing over the stylistic linguistics of my boys English and Chinese Liu Shan. Y’all can’t handle them.
