(First time making some kind of starter call but, would anyone like a starter from any of these muses, if you want one maybe reblog or comment on this post, specifying if you want one of these muses for a starter?)
(Mun is gonna try and give their main muse Mint a break, but please specify which muse you wanna interact with!)
I know I haven't been outwardly active for a while, but I stand by my statement from long ago; this community is awesome. Drama is rare, lots of encouragement, and it's filled with so many kind and creative people. YuGiOh fans young and old, you're the best.
Ah Ha! Finally figured out how to fix the USB portable dvd player for the laptop. The cord wasn't syncing up to it through the USB multi slot port. Finally I can get to bing watch/have horror movies for background noise while working! And finally can re-watch Perfect Blue :3
I’m a little amused with myself that I never made any posts while playing Amnesia World, in particular posts involving the music game in it.
I. Hated. That. Music. Game’s. Setup. (Cut for rambles)
I’ve played literally dozens of different types of music games and that one was by far the worst in design. Probably it was supposed to be cute, having the notes slide in on a rainbow and all, but notes on a curved surface mean they’re going to travel at different speeds. What does this mean? That the player has to account for this. It’s highly frustrating.
What’s more, the timing of when to hit the notes was off from the beat. If I would press the button exactly on the beat, I’d sometimes be late and sometimes be early. That’s not how rhythm games are supposed to work.
I could go on and on about how the sound effects were annoying and the button config was weird and all other stuff, but I shall cut that complaint short. Just know that this is coming from someone who’s quite good at rhythm games- I can pretty easily S rank the Pro levels in UtaPri Music games, have gotten all the Project Diva Extreme levels to E or G, etc.
It’s not that I disliked the game as a whole. In fact, I’d say I liked it more than Amnesia Later and as much as Amnesia Crowd, partly because of Nova whoops. Just... the music game. Good music, not such great a gameplay.
