Well, well, well, if it isn’t Mun Mi-Sun. Word around town is you’re 22 years old and a Horror Novelist. I don’t need to rely on word of mouth, though - I already know everything there is to know about you. For instance, I know you’re probably out dancing right now. I also know about your violent outbursts. Yikes. Funny how things spread like wildfire in the small confines of Bar Harbor, huh? Oh, don’t worry.. your secret is safe with me. I’ll see ya around.
Everybody has a story, here’s his:
Hailing from Jeju-Do, South Korea, Mi-Sun’s parents knew there was something off before he could really even walk. While he was generally a sweet boy, Sun had a lot of problems with aggression towards himself and other, something they weren’t quite sure how to handle. As he got older things didn’t get much easier, his family became known for his outburst in the circles they kept, and they could only see one solution out- to leave. That was how Mi-Sun ended up in Bar Harbor, though no one really knew. Realizing that things were not getting better, his parents didn’t want a repeat of what happened back home, so rather than sending him to school they decided to homeschool him. He was kept away from the public, most people not knowing that the couple even had a child that stayed at home. Though they were trying to protect not only themselves but Mi-Sun themselves they didn’t realize that closing him off was only making things worse. Mi-Sun was getting more unstable by the day. At fifteen, he ended up escaping, running away only to be kept under lock and key in a very dangerous relationship. Now, at 22, he turns all the nightmares he had as a child, and even now, into horror novels. One could say all that trauma turned him into a great writer.
