Meet Fanny! 

The newest addition to my family. A few months after my second cat passed away, I realized just how... lonely I was without a fluffy companion to love and take care of, so I started looking for cats I could adopt. Of course, I still miss Pooter and Monster deeply, but I finally got to a point where I felt I could start looking for another animal.

Fanny just turned one. She was a stray when the shelter found her ( missing the tip of one of her ears ). She lived with a foster mother for a while, was adopted, and then returned to the foster mom after a month because she was terrified of the family’s small children. When I got her, she was very skittish and burrowed herself under or behind anything to hide. She’s been with us for about a month now and she is settling in so well. Very happy, sleeping with me, and extremely playful. I really feel like we were the right family for her.

Fanny is named after both Fandral ( what a good boy, 10 out of 10 would recommend ), but also after Loki’s cat, Fanny. Mostly because Fanny has a funny little mustache and so does Fandral.

(...well, I was in the process of making a post to ask if anybody else’s Tumblr was acting up, but then my cat walked across the keyboard and now it’s fixed itself. I’m a little terrified.)
