The seven deadly sins are very much real. And they walk the Earth. They are among us, every second of every day. Of course they are. Humanty can’t go without sin. Can’t exist without it. To breathe is a sin, if you asked any one of them. What isn’t known, is that they have taken and crafted human vessels. Crafted new identities for themselves. They continue to embody and personify their respective domains from the comforts of the mortal world. If the world ends up destroying itself, it makes no difference to them.
Don’t let the pretty face fool you. She is as cruel and violent and malevolent as they come. Then again, this should come as no surprise when it comes to the sin in question: Wrath. One of the youngest of the seven. Also one of the most dangerous, if only because of how volatile she can be. She’d prone to bouts of explosive anger, which is a horribly combined with a short fuse. An occasional lust for blood and far too eager to use any excuse she can to let it all out. If she has no excuse to cause harm, she will make one. If she bothers with that at all. Jacqueline is the name she goes by, and has ever since she first took on a human vessel. Her default form is that of a giant, fire breathing blood red boar with silver, sharpened horns and black eyes.
Vanity incarnate. She is the vocal point of your attention. She is the object of your desire. She is your god. Pride, or rather Regan, is the pinnacle of ego and vanity. She was the last of the seven to choose or create a human vessel, refusing to do so unless it was one that was anything short of perfection. Yes, she does have high standards. She usually can’t be bothered with much unless they involve her in some way, shape or form. High maintenance, demanding, egotistical to a fault. The least repentant sin by far. Her default form is that of a golden horse, adorned with velvet dressings.
If it were all up to him, the entire world would be his. And it still wouldn’t be enough for him. All of the money in the world, all the indulgences that one could have in life, and he’ll still never be satisfied. Alas, Jason is painfully aware of how his greed will affect him in his life. But he’ll never stop seeking out his desires. Never stop trying to acquire more. It doesn’t help that Lust and Envy will occasionally enable his lesser habits for kicks. His default form is that of a golden fox.
If Jason is the man who has everything and wants more, Calvin is the one who will loathe such man. He’d been consumed and destroyed by his envy long before he’d even considered taking a human form. And there’s no sign of stopping. He’s cold, possessive while always lamenting what he can’t have. He can’t have Greed’s riches, He can’t have pride’s beauty, he can’t have Lust’s appeal. As far as he’s concerned, the world itself conspires against him to keep him from things he wants. Sad thing is, he’s still easier for his siblings to deal with than his sister Wrath. Even if he does get clingy at times. His default form is that of a jade serpent.
Just like his brother Greed, Ken wants it all. Of course, while Greed will probably hoard whatever he can get his hands on, Gluttony will use up as much as he pleases and casually discard the rest before moving on to the next thing. Which he will do at excess whenever he’s allowed to get his way. Once he does, he tends to be a bit more calm in his desires. Until the next time that he finds himself wanting of course. This isn’t really applicable when it comes to alcohol and the like. His default form is a black boar with glowing orange eyes and sharpened tusks.
Pride considers herself to be the ultimate object of desire. Lust considers themself to be the force driving said desire to begin with. The other sins would be nothing without them. Not content with being tied down to just one form, they’ve taken on many. Though they have taken on a handful of favorites that they stick to. You’ll know them as Ares or Caitlyn, if you get a name at all. There’s no guarantee what you’ll see. Lust comes in many forms. It can be sexual, vengeful, violent, greedy, etc.. They will feed on said lust and enable it. They’ll make it grow. And you’ll let them do it. Their default form is one of a sapphire goat, to differentiate itself from Wrath’s bull.
And last but not least, there’s Sloth. Not that it matters. Laila very much likes it when the attention and pressure isn’t on her. She prefers to stay in the background, to her own devices. She doesn’t see a point in doing much else. She’d prone to being apathetic, most of the time. She could be considered evil the rest of the time. Being good takes time and effort and she can’t be bothered with such a thing. Much too difficult for her. She’d rather scheme and con her merry little way through life. Hey, they have Wrath. Why does she need to do any heavy lifting? Her default form is that of a grizzly bear.
