7 planets. Solar System is Heliocentric
Solar Embassy. The governing body of the Helix Solar System
Planet one, X-22. Is uninhabitable due to close proximity to the sun.
Planet two, Velves. Volcanic. While not habitable by humans, this world is home to another species that has adapted to the high temperatures and harsh atmosphere. This species is very basic however. Easily frightened and turned hostile, though they can be dispatched easily by trained soldiers.
Planet three, Aylia. Home to a militaristic race. The world consists of large cities surrounded by dense jungles filled with hostile beasts.
Planet four, Diotos. Original birthplace of humans. Orbited by one moon. High resemblance to earth.
Planet five, Oncord. Home to the race that taught humans how to build advanced spacecraft and showed them where to find a good source of fuel. The humans, this race, and one other make up the Solar Embassy. The world has thousands of large cities built atop floating platforms as the world is 85% water.
Planet six, Catholla. Gaseous and radioactive planet. It was once home to another race. The most advanced out of the four races in this solar system. The planet has few solid landmasses and is filled with a radioactive sea. Many Corthallans lived in cities that were built to hover and move around the planet.
Planet seven, Flore, a mining planet. Surface is made of ice and uninhabitable so miners resorted to using the underground to create small mining cities. The planet is home to the special power source used for space travel.
History
In the year 2093, humans made their way to the moon to test if there colonization technology would work. When attempting this, they were created by an alien race known as the Oncordians. This race had spent the last few years panning to help the humans gai better technology. They met with the world's governing body, The Sentinel Federation, to discuss this.
They were met with open arms and the humans quickly agreed to being brought up to speed on the technology of the system. Eventually, they went on to learn of the other two races in the Solar System. The Catholla and Kinab.
Directed to the world of Flore for fuel, the humans added to the mining colonies there.
Years went by with relative peace. Only minor spats with The Catholla. However, these minor spats eventually became major spats. The Catholla were not pleased with how quickly the humans were accepted. Eventually attacking them as their trade convoys passed by their planet. And on Flore, Cathollan miners were attacking humans for little to no reason.
Eventually, the humans declared war on the Catholla. Though, this war was majorly one sided towards the Catholla. They had had more time to develop and work on their space technology.
The Oncordians took pity on the humans and convinced the Kinab, a military race, to join their side. This changed the fight, now at war with the other two planets as well, the Catholla quickly lost ground but refused to relent. Eventually the decision was made to destroy the Catholla. After nearly a century of war, the Catholla were all but wiped out. Most of what’s left is either in hiding or imprisoned.
After the war, The three planets came together, wanting to assure that this wouldn’t happen again. They formed the Solar Embassy to keep everything in check. Originally comprising of just these three races, it now expands into a couple other planets found in the galaxy as well.
Now, for the past two centuries, there is relative peace. However, tensions are high due to minor terrorist attacks occurring on the three planets. Many fear that this may be a return of the Catholla, but these reports have not been confirmed.
Races
Humans- The most recent addition to the space age technology, the humans are a rather diverse group with many ethnicities and traits. They’re a hardy group, able to survive many natural disasters that have occurred on Diotos.
Kinab- A military race that was forced to quickly adapt to their kill or be killed world. They’re by far the most fearsome in the Solar Embassy. They’re a quadrupedal beings with dark red skin. They’re skilled in both ranged and melee combat. These guys are massive. Ranging from 274 cm (9 feet) to 335 cm (11 feet). Nearly all of them walk around in full armor and carry their rifles everywhere. It’s also very common to see them as mercenaries. Picking a fight with one of these guys is a seriously bad idea.
Oncordians- A diplomatic race. They prefer to negotiate things if they can. Though don’t let that fool you, these guys are good in a fight if they need to be. A bipedal race that almost resembles a fish. They have bright blue skin and are pretty difficult to miss, despite their small size. Most of them range between 122 cm(4 feet) to 152 cm (5 feet) tall. Their ambassador is one of the most influential people in the galaxy.
Cothallans- A Cothallan hasn’t been seen in two centuries, still it’s a good idea to know what they look like and their skills just to be safe, so here it is. The Cothallans were humanoid race. Sort of resembled us, but more distorted due to the harmful gasses they adapted to on Corthalla. The had sickly yellow-green skin and patches of hair on their bodies. Many theorize that they used to be covered in hair till the radiation made most of it fall out.
