At this point Hayley was getting annoyed about all the rumours she was hearing about Finn. So he goes to parties without her and drinks with friends, that does not mean he was cheating on her. He was allowed to have a life outside of his relationship with her and she knew that he loved her. He read the texts on her phone from one of her friends scowling as she pocketed it. Maybe it would be a good idea to go get herself a drink. She was in a rather foul mood as she entered one of the bars near her college, a creep at her heels even before she had placed her order. “Oh god, will you leave me alone?” she snapped at the incessant man, drawing the attention of a couple of people around them. @angstqueenwrites​

Finally, after what felt like hours, Evan was able to tear their eyes away from the sight of two dead people in the middle of their living room floor, face still void of emotion. What have I done? The question echoed in their mind as they stalked through the halls, the silence haunting their every thought, something was off. But still, they knew, they needed to focus on their main goal now. Marisol was far more important. 

After having pulled themselves together, they went down to find the neglected girl, hugging her tightly for what felt like the first time. “You’re safe now, I have you.” The words still whispered through a raspy tone as they tightened their grip, AFRAID to let go, afraid of losing her again. “But we have to go, now.” Evan was sure the words sounded like music to the girl’s ears, but still, their fight wasn’t over, not yet. 

Grabbing the other’s hand, they left without looking back for a second, pace picking up as they reached the gates, Evan was desperate to feel safe, for Marisol to feel safe. Please let them be home. Evan pounded on the front door to the Abbott household, desperately hoping the grandparents, the only good adult figure they’d had in their lifetime were home and just them.

Stefan had always found Phin attractive but tonight was another level. Going up to his room to find him and get him downstairs to his engagement party to Adira, Stefan couldn't help but stare a moment too long at him all dressed up and looking perfect. “You look.. yeah, you look take-your-fucking-clothes-off-right-now good but you are wanted down there by your parents.” He informed the other before his expression softened a little looking at the expression on the other’s face. “Just let’s get through tonight, okay? “How can you be sure?” The words fell in a whisper as she buried her face into his chest. It had been merely days since her brother was taken -- she didn’t know how to help him, how to get him back. Not wanting to be alone in her apartment and not wanting to pretend to be brave in her parents’ place, she had come to the one person she knew wouldn’t judge her even at her most vulnerable. But it seemed even sleeping at his place was an impossibility, her waking up in the middle of the night with a scream leaving her lips. “We aren’t safe, nobody is safe, Cain. It may have been a nightmare now, but it isn’t even far from the truth.” @angstqueenwrites​

She was there when he came home. Shocker. Hayley might as well just move in with them considering the amount of time she spent with Drew. Technically she should be spending more of her time with Finn but he didn’t blame her. The poor girl deserved better than his brother. He just wished the better didn’t have to be Drew. A few minutes after Carl came home though, she got a call and left earlier than he had anticipated. “Will you look at that, it’s going to be just us today.” he said teasingly. There was no malice in his tone but his sarcasm was rather obvious. “I thought we’d never see this day again.” @angstqueenwrites​

The whole point of putting up with the Gilbert boy had been to get hold of information which could help her open her mother’s tomb and yet Anna knew it had become more than that as much as she hated to admit it. She hadn’t felt this way in a long time and it sucked that now that she was having these feelings, it was for a boy with whom she had started a friendship based on a lie. She felt rather guilty about it. She shoved the guilt aside though as she was waiting for Jeremy to join her for their study session. College was ridiculously hectic but also fun since she had never really been to one before. The door opened and a smile was on her lips as her eyes fell on the other. “Hi, you are late.” she greeted him with a bright smile even though he was not late, unless you counted being less than five minutes late as a huge offence. @angstqueenwrites​

He winced as the other’s fingers trailed over the scars on his chest. They were all over his body, proof that he had to suffer through several full moons, some scars newer than the others. She mumbled a faint ”Sorry” before her fingers tentatively continued to draw patterns, as though memorizing every scar -- now that he had finally told her what he was, and showed her how it had changed him. 

There was unspoken understanding in her eyes as her gaze finally came up to meet his, she didn't ask questions or show her concerns in anyway, instead simply leaned into kiss him. 

His lips met hers with an urgency but pulled back just as quickly, confusion evident in his eyes. 

“Why would you want to be with a monster?” the words fell through his lips before he could stop himself. 

“Because I don’t see one.”

He was getting engaged? Jasmin was not sure how to feel about that. Especially because she had to learn this from an invitation to his fucking engagement party on her email. Technically, he didn’t owe her a thing. They were just friends before. Inseparable best friends but nothing more. Jasmin could remember how much she had wanted it to be more but then he had left, broken her heart doing so, and they hadn’t exactly kept in touch and.. now he’s getting engaged. The more she thought about it the more she became mad despite a part of her telling herself that she isn’t allowed to be this irritated and upset. 

And by the time the day came, that voice in her mind had been numbed, and anger with a dash of betrayal was the dominant emotion. She put far too much effort into dressing up that day going through what seemed like a hundred dresses before she picked a perfect gown and paired it with diamonds. She was going to turn heads -- and Corban’s was going to be one of them. When she saw him, she merely congratulated him and his precious fiancée before she walked around the party talking to several of their mutual friends. That was all he was going to get for that invitation. If he wanted a real conversation with her, he had to come to find her. @angstqueenwrites​
