Looking to energize their common area, a corporate client in Atlanta, Georgia tasked us with creating a graffiti styled mural on a unique curved wall. The client asked to design and paint a mural containing some of the essential parts of what makes up Atlanta culture. The local culture was an integral part of their business and values. Tying in their branded hashtag #WeAreIOne, the mural serves as a backdrop to Atlanta, their employees and their brand initiatives. For the 20th anniversary of American Society of Concrete Contractors’ Decorative Concrete Council, they wanted our team to add a live graffiti entertainment element to their event, tying into the theme “Everything But Gray”. Our artist took inspiration from ASCC’s portfolio of decorative concrete architecture to create a fictional world showing more traditional forms of gray concrete transforming into the more engaging and enticing world of vibrant and colorful decorative concrete. With finishing touches of the artwork completed live onsite, the final piece was auctioned off to guests at the end of the event. Our long time partner, MOD Pizza was looking to add a more traditional graffiti look to their Castro Valley, CA location, and our team was up to the task! We created a texturized graffiti wall with a rainbow gradient of MOD lettering in spray paint and the words “Come As You Are”. Additionally this location has a piece that heavily plays with typography with an install that reads as “MOD” or as “Love” depending upon which way you read it - from top to bottom or bottom to top.
