so I just convinced my friend to watch the first episode of murder drones and his commentary was that he can already smell the n x Uzi ships. Little does he know ….

I Was Rewatching A Bit Of The J Special And I Realised Something

Near the end of the Pilot, Uzi has J pinned and says "One more buzzword, and I'll do it!", and of course, J responds "Equity Partnersh-?" and gets vaporised.

It looks like J just couldn’t help herself - and I do think that was Liam Vickers's authorial intent at the time - but the J Special provides an alternative reading:

J knew what she was doing, and willingly chose death rather than sticking around for when her boss shows up.

Depending on your interpretation of the continuity of the two Js, this gives one of her lines to V in Absolute End a chilling extra kick

"You know there's no escape... even in death!"
