You guys really oughta know there's a difference between killing and murder.
Killing is taking life. Ending the life of another living being.
Murder is taking innocent life. Taking the life of someone who meant you no harm.
So if you broke into my house with the intention to harm me, I could kill you, but I couldn't murder you, because you are not innocent.
And the commandment originally was "thou shall not murder" as in "thou shall not take innocent life."
