I'm saving this episode for another day bc I'm currently traveling solo and I remember it well enough to be pretty certain I cant handle it rn
Just the whole concept of meeting new people, spending time with them but not connection on any deep level, then never seeing them again hits very different when it's been your life for 2 months. It's a very freeing feeling but also a very isolating one, just like (iirc) the statement says.

That said, I love this episode's portrayal of the lonely as a crowd. Not the lack of people, but the lack of connection. It's just so different than the lukas's brand of lonely and shows how complex the fears are, how different people are affected in different ways.
