A long grey sky for our last day at the shore. Cleaning, packing. Ready to go. Full of plans, ideas, for the studio. #lastdayattheshore #murraycorner #oldwork
A quick read. Foreign correspondent, misery tour of the Middle East. His synopsis: it was always bad, under the surface, but then the West made it worse (see: pointless wars). He explains it all quite well, but tends to repeat himself. #andthenallhellbrokeloose #cottageread #murraycorner

Mindlessly hitting a golf ball up and down the sandbars. A perfectly gloomy day. #murraycorner
The afternoon sky, like this morning's skim milk that I poured down the drain, thin blues and greys and stone whites. Strange since the storm two days ago. #afternoonsky #murraycorner
A story told by a someone who is not a storyteller. The effect is like footprints in the snow: wandering, winding, crossing over each other, looping back and then forward, getting ahead of himself, going over certain kinds of ground too often, but eventually, fitfully, pushing on. And the reason he needs to tell this story? To get there first. To tell a story of solipsism and casual cruelty before his nemesis can tell hers. At least he's Irish, and makes some colourful turns of phrase. #diaryofanoxygenthief #anonymous #cottagereading #murraycorner
