Noah wasn’t used to people staring at him. He was forgettable; he was rarely noticed at all, and when he was, his presence seemed to slip from their minds easily, just like anything else that wasn’t quite right, wasn’t quite real. This girl was staring, however, and Noah shifted uncomfortably. “Um...do you need something?”

          Sora leaned back against the bed that he was sprawled on. A fashion magazine was cradled in her lap that she casually flipped through while they passed time. Being in high school and both belonging to their respective sports teams left very little time for the friends to hang out. She had to return a book she borrowed from him or she didn’t know when she might have had the time again.

          “Remember the time you threw up in my hat before we were even friends? Good times.”

“Wait, are you serious?” Zep stepped over to Deku’s side and began to smash his finger on the elevator panel, trying to get it to open its doors...

But to no avail.

“Ugh, you’ve got to be kidding me...” He ran his fingers through his hair in a bout of frustration as he sighed. He pressed the emergency help button to notify the building’s staff to get their maintenance over to help. All they could do is just wait for now. “Man, what a way to start a week, huh?”

Generally, Zai wasn’t very interested in vehicles. When you’d seen one, you’d kind of seen them all. But this motorcycle was bizarre. It looked normal, but it smelled...not normal. It smelled like a horse, and a little like blood, and the combination was worrisome enough to investigate. The pixy hovered around the bike, not daring to come close enough to touch it, but anxious to figure out what was wrong with it.

Peter was no stranger to throwing rocks. Or dropping rocks, or pushing them off of high places, and several other methods of using rocks for one’s own amusement or armament. He had not, however, ever seen rocks move like that. 

So he did the only logical thing, which was to drop down to the ground and ask this person, “How are you doing that?”
