I’m conflicted, because a really funny but annoying thing I used to love isnt really a thing anymore.
Being a lazy artist I usually shorten words, especially art vernacular I use often (ex. inspiration is inspo, figure is fig, document is doc etc). This isnt unusual in and of itself, i know plenty of people who do that, but theres one word thats is particularly annoying when in the context of the art world; that being “ref” short for reference, as I’m sure is clear.
Which meant, when searching for reference of human musculature I thought “yeah, ‘muscle ref’ theres no other way of interpereting those words.” So imagine my surprise when the google images page was not in fact populated by illustrated references of human anatomy, but rather an incredibly muscular referee.
Unfortunately, whatever news there was of a referee who also happened to be absolutely jacked has passed, and google images is no longer just a sea of green dotted with the hulking body of a middle aged man in stripes.
