Manly Experiments: Transfer Ring
David was walking along the sidewalk on the way home from class on a Friday afternoon when he stumbled upon a ring on the ground outside the local magic shop
He knew the store, it wasn’t MAGIC-magic, it’s just where one could buy party tricks, costumes, and other magic stuff so he didn’t suspect a thing.
“This must be worth a lot, I can’t believe someone would’ve just dropped this” he said as he inspected the ring.
The ring itself was just an ordinary ring but had a large green crystal as the main gem. So with no one in the vicinity immediately looking for it, he decided to take it home with him.
At home, he went straight to his room to inspect his latest find at his desk. He realized he needed to clean and organize his desk because it still had all the Tolkien books and D&D stuff from the night prior.
Inspecting the ring further, he wanted to see if it actually would fit on him. When he inspected the ring earlier on the sidewalk, it was relatively huge compared to his hands and fingers but when he brought it out, it looked like it shrank to adjust to his proportions
“Was it always this small? i swear when I picked this up it was bigger” he said as he inspected it. It was still the same ring but now it looked like it was made for him. After a few more checks, he decided to put it on.
The moment he put it on, it started glowing and emitting a light that shone the same color green as the gem
“ooookay that’s weird” he exclaimed, shocked as the ring lit up without a power source “I know they don’t make batteries this small” he added. The ring kept shining a green light into his room until it landed on a poster of a D&D Barbarian.
David always had that poster up because he liked playing the Barbarian in almost every D&D campaign with his friends. He always liked it because it was a formidable, high-hit-point frontline warrior who thrives in close combat. They excel at tanking, dealing massive damage, and providing survival utility through strength-based skills. And, he always dreamed of having that body as he regularly tried hitting the gym every now and then to keep up with his favorite character.
“I must be dreaming, gotta take this off” he said but by the moment he tried removing the ring, something strange started happening — he noticed the Barbarian in the poster start getting thinner as his own body started growing right before his eyes
“HOLY SHIT” he boomed as he saw his body inflate with muscle upon muscle as the Barbarian in the poster kept shrinking
It didn’t sttart in any particular place but his body just swelled in proportion to the character displayed on his wall.
His chest ballooned out fast as if jutting out of him, pecs as firm and big as the man in the poster started forming on his body stretching out the fabric to its limits. His shoulders followed suit as they grew and rounded out as they stretched further horizontally to give him the same width as his favorite D&D character.
His arms were growing simultaneously as well. His biceps and triceps grew in to almost twice the size of his original arm width to the point that his shirt sleeves were stretched to their limits from the sheer size of his new arms. Veins started criss-crossing the entire length as it started supplying the new muscle that formed
He had to adjust how he sat at his desk chair because he also felt as if he grew in height. His torso and legs lengthened a bit to match the same posture as a Barbarian would have. To be able to tower over everyone in the party to really show off dominance and strength
After a few minutes, the light from the ring dimmed on its own. Once the changes finally came to a stop, he rushed to his bathroom to really inspect the changes
“oh fuuuuuck” he said shockingly as he took off his shirt and inspected himself in the bathroom mirror
As he saw on his desk, the changes really did take effect on his body as everything about him grew to massive proportions - he saw how he now sported pecs that casted shadows and now he had an actual solid 6-pack!
“I always wondered what I’d look like if my workouts paid off” he said inquisitively
He inspected his arms, definitely 2x the size now versus just a few minutes ago. He instinctively flexed them and saw how huge the bicep rose and fell from his arm, how the tricep really looked like a horseshoe got shoved into his skin.
Interestingly enough he didn’t feel the weight of his newfound bulk as it seemed that his body just grew accustomed to the new strength and size.
“I’ve got to test these out tomorrow at the gym” he said as he rushed back to his bed. Funny thing was he also felt extremely riled up and felt as if he had so much more energy that he didn’t feel like sleeping but something else started showing up from all that excitement
He saw how a third leg practically showed up out of nowhere at full mast. “Haha oh shit that wasn’t that big before” he told himself as he discovered the ring had also improved his manhood to match the new body. He pulled down his boxers and started the deed. David was already furiously going at it while also seeing how his new muscles were moving and responding to the action
He felt up his pecs and flexed his new massive biceps as he kept going “oh this’ll be so good!! I canmt wait for tomorrow!! GrAAH!!” As he finished and immediately dozed off to sleep
The following day, he got up to get ready for his weekly workouts at the gym. He normally would have just worn regular shirt and shorts but as he tried getting ready, he saw how both those pieces of clothes wouldn’t even barely fit him. “Okay this might be an issue” he said as he rummaged through his closet for clothes.
Luckily he found a tank too shirt he used to wear during summer — he assumed it would fit him because it didn’t have any sleeves to fit his new massive arms and shoulders. “There, finally something that fits, time to head out and test these guns!” He said as he went out for the gym
Once in the gym, he started testing out his usual workout routine and was surprised at how light his usual weights were now “I can’t believe how light these are, should try for heavier”
As he did bicep curls, he kept changing the weights from 15, 20, 25, and 30 until he ended up around 40 or 45 to finally start feeling actual weight “this is more than 3x the weight I could usually curl FUCK” he said to himself as he pressed on with his exercise. “I can’t wait to get bigger” he added
As he said that, the ring on his finger started shining again. “Didn’t realize I still had this thing on” he realized as the gem glowed the same green as last night. What was weird though was no one else in the gym could see the light - luckily enough he guessed as it would’ve been weird.
The light on the ring shone straight into the direction of one of the big bodybuilder trainers in the gym “you want me to get closer?” He asked himself as the ring was faintly pulling him towards the trainer’s direction
David followed him and the ring into the locker room where the trainer went to his locker to fix his stuff for his next client. To make it believable why he was in there with him, he took off his shirt and acted like he was going to his own locker too.
Unbenknownst to the trainer, David was standing far behind him with the ring casting its green light onto him.
As he pointed his arm out to the trainer, the light shone stronger and stronger eventually casting a full green glow onto the man. It showed off the musculature, each and every carved muscle the man had from yesrs of training and diets
That’s when the familiar feeling from last night came back.
As the light kept shining onto the trainer, David could see how the trainer was getting smaller. His muscles slowly decreasing in size and mass without him even realizing what was happening.
Simultaneously his own body started responding the same way as last night.
His already huge body almost doubled in size again as all of his muscles grew in response to the shrinking man infront of David
His biceps started getting thicker and heavier as muscle packed onto his already amazing arms. His shoulders practically grew out wider as it accommodating more mass that was coming. His pecs were now jutting out by at least more than an inch from his body now effectively blocking the view of his lower half as his abs carved deeper and his leg muscles looking like they could squat a truck
As the light from the ring dimmed, he immediately started flexing right then and there marveling at his newfound mass and size. Seeing how his NEW-new biceps rose to their new size. He assumed that they would now at least be more than 25in at least!
He cupped his pecs as well, enjoying the mass that had now formed on his chest. Practically perfect pecs that had a clear fine divide in the center - not even the Barbarian in D&D could have this build he mentally told himself
He saw the trainer still fixin his stuff, now practically looking like the people he would actually be training.
David bolted to his own locker to act casual.
He tried wearing the same tank top shirt again so as to not give off any alarms and walked back out onto the gym floor.
The shirt he had on now looked as if it were skin tight as it hugged his entire torso. Practically stretched further by the added mass and musculature from the trainer.
“I swear I’m lucky this thing doesn’t have sleeves” he said as he felt his arms up feeling the muscle, the ridges, and the veins that were now occupying his limbs
Now pent up with energy again from the transformation, he went back out to test his new muscles “let’s see if thise 45’s have any weight to them now” he said as he went straight for the dumbbells again
“I think I’ll be keeping this ring around” he said as the ring on his finger started dimly glowing again as the other trainers started their routine with their bodybuilding clients on the benches beside him

This story is inspired by that one episode of Totally Spies - Super Nerd Much? - where a character named Arnold gets a hold of a ring that absorbed the “coolness” out of people and transferred it all onto himself. It does include muscle growth as he absorbed the muscles of a bodybuilder. Always thought that was a hot way to change. Anyway, enjoy!
Magic in the Water: Summer Break
Jordan looked at himself in the mirror and got sad. He noticed fresh stretch marks on his stomach which meant he gained fat again
See, Jordan wasn’t particularly proud of how round he’s gotten since the start of summer break.
He looked in the mirror and said “I should really start working out and getting thinner before heading back to school”.
“Might as well watch some TV downstairs”. He went down, got a cup of water from the tap and sat down across the living room TV taking a huge swig of the water
He watched TV for hours on end almost rotting in place in the living room. During that time though, he kept thinking to himself if he should work out in a few days, maybe even join a gym or something
It was already way past 10PM so he decided to just go ahead and catch some sleep - without a clear agenda tomorrow, he guessed it’s just the same routine again the following day
He got into bed and just dozed off immediately
Hours passed. Jordan wasn’t exactly a neat sleeper, he would toss and turn throughout the night switching positions, kicking off the sheet, and all that. He was also a heavy sleeper so it really wasn’t the best combo
What happened that night though he wouldn’t have been able to notice, let alone feel. His body started heating up and sweating, despite the room being cold already
His body started sweating like crazy but also started getting leaner and the fat that used to be there slowly got replaced with muscle…and then some
Everything about him started deflating and inflating at the same time. Muscles started appearing, fat disappearing. Practically showing signs of increased muscle mass and strength
It was in the middle of the night when the changes started completely ramping up and going crazy
His unconscious body already took note of the increased heat and pulled his shirt up revealing what’s been growing underneath
With every breath he took more and more muscle mass started showing up. He was now already sporting pecs and 6 pack abs - something he seriously didn’t have the day before - and all of it just kept growing, getting bigger and more defined
His muscles eventualy grew so much over the course of the night that it could no longer handle the growth so it just eventually gave up and exploded right then and there
He was almost practically unrecognizable at this point but the growth and changes kept going.
His arms kept getting heavier and heavier as more muscle piled onto his biceps and triceps, almost doubling the total circumference of his arms. Veins started snaking their way through to supply blood to the newly strengthened area
His chest also kept growing. His already present pecs were getting thicker and fuller, rising from his chest and defining their own place as if creating their own mounds and valleys
His abs were now much more visible and showed no signs of stopping anytime soon.
He was now occupying more bed space as his back and shoulders practically shot outwards making him near double in width from who he was just a few hours ago
And finally his legs, not only did they lengthen to the point that they now hung over the bed but the muscles in his glutes, thighs, ans calves were the textbook definition of tree trunks
He now practically looked like a behemoth on his bed. As he tossed and turned, his shirt already came off and showed off his back
Thick muscles creating valleys across his wide back that would make any man jealous of the definition. His width alone could eclipse anyone at that point
Then his alarm went off, it was morning the next day
He got up, still not noticing how heavy his body felt or how his vantage point is already at a much higher elevation. It was only by the time he felt a breeze on his chest did he notice he wasn’t wearing a shirt. He looked down and screamed “HOLY SHIT! WHOSE BODY IS THIS?!”
His voice carried enough weight that it practically vibrated inside his room, almost an octave lower than his usual voice
He ran to the mirror and was shocked by what he saw
He still recognized his face but it was replaced by what he would call an absolute unit
His jawline alone was so perfect that he was aroused by the sight alone. Perfect lantern cut jaw, something he didn’t know he had under the fat that he knew he had the day before.
He inspected his new body and felt every crevasse of his new found musculature. “FUCK I HAVE ABS” he said while feeling up 6-8 bumps on his stomach that wasn’t there before
His pecs involuntarily bounced and he was shocked that they moved “what the fuck?” He said and tried to control it. Lo and behold they bounced on command. He felt the weight of them as each pec rose and fell.
He checked his arms and flexed, seeing such a massive bicep show up out of nowhere. Well, not really from nowwhere. “This can’t be me, can it?” He said as he flexed both arms
After some time of self exploration, he decided he wanted to get out of the house and take this new muscle for a test drive
He went through his closet and found the biggest shirt he had and jeans. He knew the shirt was the biggest one he owned but he struggled to put it on. His new massive frame almost not fitting into the shirt. The jeans also practically turned into skinny jeans due to his thighs stretching the fabric to its limits
He stepped outside and felt the sun hit his skin. Still somewhat of a foreign feeling seeing that he now occupied 2-3x the usual space he occupied yesterday
“Might as well head to the gym” he said confidently as he went back inside to get his keys
Hayley, the daughter of the nextdoor neighbor - who was the same age as him and went to the same school - saw him as he walked back. She knew Jordan but this man was someone she never saw before but she could tell from afar that he looked like Jordan. She shouted at him “Hey, are you new here or are you Jordan’s brother?”
Jordan heard her question and just laughed a bit but mustered up an answer “no it’s me, Jordan!” He said
Hayley was shocked by the answer that she couldn’t respond but Jordan could tell she was red hot and blushed as she ran back inside.
“Might visit her after gym” he said confidently. He knew his nee self could take her out on a date - heck even carry her with one hand at that point
“This summer’s going to be great” he said to himself joyfully as he went into his car and drove off
Beauty-ful Summer Day
David was tired of being told to get out more and get some sunlight and a workout so he wished there was a quick way to change things like how he saw in bis comics.
Sulking, he went to lie down on his bed and just decided to doomscroll his way through the morning
That’s when he got hit with ads for “a one shot stop to a besutiful tomorrow” - an ad for a beauty treatment that promised “perfection”
So out of curiosity, he clicked the ad and just placed an order. He was also happy ‘cause it promised same-day delivery.
Later that day, the package arrived
“Didn’t really expect it to be this tiny” he said while analyzing the syringe and the glowing liquid inside. After reading the instructions included in the box, he went ahead and administered it to himself
In just a few minutes, he immediately felt an intense burning pain coming from his stomach. He fell onto his bed clutching his stomach in heat and agony. He eventually passed out.
What wasn’t included in the instructions however was how the next stage was going to progress — his body secreted a mucus-like substance from every pore to the point that it completely enveloped him like a cocoon
There David stayed for roughly the whole day. He was still passed out but his body kept moving around as if unrest and trying to get out
By the following morning, that’s when things started really moving. He was finally awake.
He wasn’t so sure where he was but he tried getting out of the cocoon as fast as possible so he gripped the material and just tore it open
That’s when he started noticing what was different.
First, he was bewildered and disgusted that there was a sac around him and that he was covered in a red liquid. It wasn’t blood but it wasn’t something he knew either since it was completely sticky.
Second, he started noticing his hands. They were bigger and thicker - not the same hands he had that could effortlessly type in code on his laptop. No, these hands looked like they lifted houses with ease
He continued checking from his hands to his arms - which were basically the biggest arms he’s ever seen. Biceps that were covered in bulging veins that dwarfed his old arms. He estimated they were at least twice the size he was used to seeing (and feeling) as he felt them up.
Third, he looked down at his own body and was completely shocked because all he saw was skin and hair - his pecs blocking complete view of his lower half
That’s when he tried rushing to the bathroom
What he saw was breathtakingly amazing - it was him but 1000x much more manly and handsome and with s body he could only dream of
He just instinctively started flexing, testing the size wnd limits of each muscle group. “FUCK YEAH” he boomed while feeling up his new muscles
“Damn I feel like I could lift a car” he exclaimed, his body was so full of energy. He then went into the shower and got cleaned up, he wanted to get rid of the sticky substance covering his entire body
He saw it was already sunny outside so he decided the best way to enjoy this new body was to get out there and enjoy the sun - something he was tired of hearing just yesterday. Now it made sense that his house was just a few blocks away from the beach
So he went into his closet, found the biggest shorts he could find (since none of them fit around his legs anymore) and made his way out of the house - reveling every movement and sensation of his now massive body
Once he was outside is when he finally realized his point of view was now at least a foot taller - he assumed he was now around 6’ 7” - a shy height from his usual 5’
He walked with such a new level of confidence that it just radiated from every part of him. He enjoyed the feeling of the air passing around his body
By the time he hit the beach he was a new man. Still David but not the David anyone would even possibly remember.
