so my patsy is a combo of the comics and jessica jones tv show,,,, aka all of it’s canon for her okay??? to go with this she also answers to patsy or trish. trish mostly by jessica or when she’s working on her talk show. yes. so. recap:
tw for drug use, death, depression, anorexia, abuse, etc.
patsy was a child actress!! she was acting from age nine on. it. wasn’t healthy.
the main show she was involved in was it’s pats! which involved patsy starring as.... herself (think hannah montanna in a way) with her friends solving crimes and mysteries from age eleven to about eighteen. this started a passion in patsy that was kept dormant--- or covered up by her rough exterior during her painful childhood-- until she was older.
her mother was her main agent and also the creator of the show. and. her mother was obsessed with capitalizing on her daughter to make sure they kept their lifestyle. (dorothy coming from poverty.)
this,,,, lead to some unfortunate things with patsy. her mother essentially starved her some growing up and patsy developed anorexia for a long while because of it.
worst, however, was her drug addiction. her mother was also the cause for this and by age fourteen patsy was already getting into the hard stuff.
dorothy also tended to be physically and verbally abusive.
when patsy was sixteen they took in an orphan to boost her image. jessica jones quickly became one of patsy’ closest friends.
after her mess of a childhood--- and after rehab--- patsy went on to marry buzz baxter-- a former costar of her show. this fizzled and led to divorce quickly--- and patsy went on to become a radio talk show host. she befriended daimon hellstrom in his civilian disguise

which basically: patsy gets powers. patsy ruins her friendship with jessica jones. oh no.
from then on she joined the defenders, the avengers, married daimon hellstrom and at one point died and went to hell
she fought in a battledome in hell for a while before daimon tricked some people into bringing her back to life
she came back to life with psychic abilities and can now summon her costume whenever she wants. nifty. she’s depressed. writes a book about her life. works with she-hulk.
has kids with daimon. eventually divorces him because he keeps hurting people. he kidnaps her/tricks her to hell some. it’s fine.
she’s been living her life. she’s fine. she’s happy
and she’s working on investigative journalism now! it’s not enough saving the day--- she wants to tell the people EVERYTHING too!
essentially: patsy is optimistic and gung ho. she doesn’t give up. but. she can get REALLY obsessive and sometimes manic. she’s a little over the top sometimes and... a lot to handle but. she is a sweetheart.

she knows nearly almost any hero. seriously. plus. she’d have connections from her childhood and adult life of fame. she’s probably interviewed almost anyone at this point. for next gen connections... interns! fellow kiddie heroes she adores! she loves taking in strays! seriously i can probably make a connection with about anyone for her.
