"I'm kind of curious of what normal people would consider strange if they were here in the moment, us fighting pretty good and wear combat outfits as toddlers or the fact that you have a machine that's can play sixteen year old tapes" Keres commented to Killua while both of watched a old home video of a younger version of herself and Killua sparring with each other.

"They would probably start with the fact that you still have tapes shot by our grandma sixteen years ago and work their way down or wouldn't care if I had to guess" Killua replied while he took a bite of his chocolate bar.

Killua shrugged while he threw another guest professor out of the combat ring: i am controlling, they are still alive.....I think.

"Your idea of demonic and spooky is very dapper Kil, may I ask why didn't give your cosplay the usual effort you give all your hobbies?" Asura asked out of curiosity while his body writhed and shifted in a mist-like state of giant, white fur and red eyes as his "costume" for the occasion.

"What do i look like embarrassing my apprentice by going too hard each year? Besides I have to save that level of cuteness and adorably for you, Mike and the other supernatural things in my life or else there wouldn't be enough to go around" Killua responded with cat-like grin.

As a costume Killua wore a headband with goat horns protruding out the sides with a open white suit jacket with the sleeves rolled up, a black under shirt, a pair of white slacks and a pair of white dress shoes for the holiday.

"Oh good! Seems people are getting more lively now! Maybe I can hop into the fray and get some fun in!"

"Usually, we are visited by dragons, spirits and other supernatural beings this time of the year, but unicorns are a first for me...they were a part of your family's guard pets weren't they?" Asura shifted into a giant beagle for his costume while he looked at the enormous horses that were watching his home from the shadows with their robotic eyes.

Killua wore cat ears on top of his head that blended into his hair, tattered bandages and cloths wrapped his torso and arms and snake patterned, baggy training pants as his costume.

"Yeah, they're just a little bit shy when enemies aren't around, but give them a few minutes, and they'll come closer on their own." Killua replied as he finished stacking birthday gifts for people he knew and making oven baked hens and other food for his apprentice and guests when they wanted to approach his home.

"With Halloween coming up I'm now costume hunting. I'm thinking either a sexy witch or a succubus. Just not sure which one I want to wear more."

"That's assuming your father would allow you to wear either. Granted I don't think he'd really stop you. But if it helps I can tell him I'll wear whichever one you don't pick."

"We can train later pup but for now why don't we have a birthday breakfast and relax? Good work on improving your shadow step and shifting though" Killua commented while he finished cooking the last of the oversized pancakes while his apprentice tried to sneak attack with a bite from behind.

Killua avoided the attack by backflipping over the hellhound into a chair where the rest of the food awaited them and whatever guests appeared, with his attack avoided Asura sat at the table "Fine, just don't become more feline than usual when we fight, it's hard to give you birthday lumps when you look like that"

Asura replied as he ate the "counterattack" that was the fluffy pancakes left on his maw then went to join his master at the table to eat their fill to celebrate the occasion, Killua quietly repiled by making his face more cat-like while he ate his part of the feast.
