The nightmares. They weren't stopping. The time she was dedicating to reading archives, it still wasn't subsiding the scenes on replay. Being usurped by Vecna --even if temporarily-- had indeed left something in her. Something that kept feeling like it was gnawing at her sanity. She'd been driven before--wanting justice for Barb. For all the collateral damage that kept happening in her town. For everyone, she crossed paths and suddenly had to mourn their inevitable loss. She'd gone through all of that. Hardened a part of herself --she wasn't sure could have been hardened, but it had been nonetheless. Nancy had persevered...only to now, have no restful peace of sleep for the rest of her life? She wasn't looking forward to that. Something had to be done. So, as she did her best to meditate, and settle herself back so she could muster enough energy to make a decent cup of coffee, she heard the doorbell ring. It was her day off from the paper, and there really wasn't much in the personal life aspect, since she'd broken up with Jonathan once he'd gotten back to town, she'd been lying low on the social factor. Not that it ever really mattered to her after her sophomore year. A lot of things changed since then. As she made her way over to the door, she noticed a familiar face. Quickly cleaning her eyes up in the mirror by the door, she opened it to see Chrissy. "Chrissy, Hi." she gave her a small tired smile, before widening the door for her to come in. "It's been a while, how have you been?"
