Caleb is a good example of money isn't everything. He had all the money in the world since the moment he was born but little love from his family. They were not cold to the boy nor did his older brother ever treat him badly, his family simply values success the most and their focus had always been the first born, the important one. Instead of craving the affection of a family that had different views than himself, Caleb focused on what he wanted to do, nobody stood in his way in the first place. He launched a company for female hygiene products ( Hygieia ), affordable and fair in production. Women should not have to pay more just because the packaging was pink and pretty. Growing up, he had a live-in nanny who age-wise could have been an older sister. He grew up understanding that women had it harder in many ways and using the money he would barely ever touch, he created this project. Caleb is indeed ambitious and driven by his dreams but a part of him is rather reserved and shy in private. Talking business? No problem? Sitting with his employees having a coffee? The familiarity of his language and meaning of the words helping soothe the sharp pain that radiated through his arm and shoulder after a sword sliced right through his worn coat. His hand shot towards the pain, pressing against it and coming away crimson and stickily wet. There wasn't time to dodge the next blow and the bandit knocked the swordpommel against Calebs chest, shoving him to his arse and taking the air from his lunges. What the bandit clearly didn't expect was the amount of pain the zemnian was used to. He recovered with a deep breath, then grabbed a stick of liquorish root from his component pouch, mushing it into a paste by grinding knuckle against palm. It crackled with a reddish energy before the smell of ozone filled the air between him and the bandit. Caleb muttered an encantation, just two simple words and the Witchbolt flared to life stricking his opponend and making him convulse and collapse. The wizard fought to get back up to his legs, vision blurring and he could feel the bloos drenching his sleeve now. His eyes automatically shifted, looking for purple even in their blurry state. He needed to find Nott, Mollymauk and the others before worse things happened.

The worry over whether he had taken a step too far and crossed a line had come the moment Caleb's lips had touched the Drows. His fingers flexed open and closed in nervousness for a few moments even as Essek assured him it was okay.

He could have just been being nice.

But when the Drow placed a hand upon his shoulder, Caleb dared to look into those blue/violet eyes that seemed even more beautiful this close.

When Essek spoke again, Caleb thought his mind had caught on itself and automatically translated what the other had said. It took a few moments before he realised Essek had spoke Zemnian to him. The wizards lips curled into a smile over the fact the other had learnt some of his native tongue.

A moment later, Caleb swallowed as he realised just what the other had said.

"Wirklich....?"

Fingers flexed again as his own blue eyes flicked down to the Drows lips for a brief moment.

Breathing in and out slowly, Caleb reached his hand up to gently and carefully cup Esseks jaw before leaning in and carefully brushing his lips against the others once more.

Caleb didn’t expect to hear those words out of Everett’s mouth. When he started talking about how hard this breakup was for him he really was just trying to get some of it off of his mind. Everett really was his best friend so when he felt bad, he was who he wanted to talk to, even if this conversation was rather inappropriate for him to start with the other. Still, if he’d known this would have been the outcome he would have done it a long time ago. And while he's never told anyone, his nanny actually knew, finding it rather endearing yet keeping it to herself for Caleb's sake.

Yet he ended up gesturing with his hands, deep into the question now. "Or do you mean on myself? Well, I think they do well with suits - but once I'm home, I immediately change into comfortable clothes and that includes socks. They mean business to me, quite literally. One of my employees, Dana, gifted me these fluffy socks and I love to wear them on cold days! You should try them, too!"
