This guy had “Sephiroth” written all over his smug face. Admittedly, Sun hadn’t seen much of Sephiroth back then--there was a lot of violence, and she’d just been waking from a ten-year slumber--so for all she knew this guy could either be his identical twin or his exact opposite in the looks department. But he definitely had Sephir-vibes.

When Angeal made peace with his charge and she left to go take care of some business in the village. Reeanna soon headed out following the mutated Cetra. She been meaning to snatch her offspring away from this pathetic excuse of a companion for her creation.

Dealing with all the mistakes from her past had given her a lot to think about that she didn’t feel like thinking about. So even though it was late, she’d excused herself to go and get some supplies for their travels, and some fresh air.
She tensed when she felt the hairs prickling up on the back of her neck, a sign that someone was following her. A hand went to the hilt of her sword, fingers fidgeting with the chain that attached to the pommel.
“Stalking someone isn’t the best way to strike a conversation, you know,” she called out.
“I know what sex is. I just didn’t know it got deeper than just sex.”

The Cetra stared at him with wide eyes, backing up. Damn this guy’s completely inconvenient telepathy--she knew what he’d seen, too; the last she ever saw of Zack, his spirit returning from the Lifestream long enough to say goodbye. That memory kept cropping up no matter how hard she tried to repress it.
The feathers along her wing lay flat in panic.
“Y-you weren’t supposed to see that,” she said, backing away from the ex-SOLDIER. Her fear was that he’d know what she was; only Cetra could speak with souls from the Lifestream without being in the throes of death. She’d tried so hard to hide it, too...
