“I just have to finish this.” Dublin said. She was taking a class over the summer to catch up on her schooling, and she wasn’t used to the extra workload. “I promise I’ll be in as soon as I’m done.” She said from the couch, though obviously tired.
“I wasn’t able to sleep.” Dublin said as she picked at a cupcake, sitting on the stool in the kitchen. Father’s day was emotional for her, being her father had died, and she found each year on the day a hard one for her. “Sorry.” She said, sniffling slightly, trying to hide the fact she may have been crying a bit. The clock on the oven read it was past 2 in the morning.
