Hayden looked on the system for his next patient then went out into the waiting room. "Missy and James?" He looked over at the other man with his cat. "Want to come this way?" Hayden led the way back into his room.

Hayden sipped his cup of coffee as he watched the snow fall over main street from his apartment on top of the vets office, once in a while he'd see someone fighting the elements down there and shake his head a little, that was until he saw a familiar head of blonde which made him sigh. "No." He refused then groaned. "Fine." Hayden put his cup down, pulled his coat on and made his way outside.

"Card? What the fuck are you doing out here?"

If he had to see that damn tripod being taken out again on this walk, Hayden was going to lose it. "Can you just not walk like a normal person? Put the phone away." He sighed and gave Monty a pat on his head. "It's not the end of the world if you don't get to check social media every five minutes."

"Monty, no." Hayden sighed as his dog wandered over to the nearest person who smelled more interesting to him than the training Hayden was trying to do in the park. "Sorry about him, Ezel, he's nosy."

Hayden was 11 when his entire world came crashing down. Up until then, he was very much his mothers son, always clinging to her side and following her around but just a few weeks short of his 12th birthday, his mother passed away unexpectedly. His father tried his best to raise his son after his wife passed, he remarried and started a new family of his own where Hayden never felt like he fit in so as soon as he was able, he left home and got a place of his own. He's always loved animals and started to go to veterinary school as soon as he left high school, learning how to care for all creatures great and small, life was finally on track. Then the news hit him like a train, his father and step mother had passed, and he was the sole guardian of his little brother, Matty. So now having to be a brother and a sort of parent figure to Matty, Hayden had to find a balance back in his life with numerous calls from social services, offers to put Matty into the foster system, Hayden kept at it. Matty's an adult now, on paper anyway... Hayden really doesn't like the company he keeps or what he does for a living but it's his life, he can do whatever he wants. Hayden lives alone in the flat above the clinic with his dog, Monty.

Connections:

Matty Smith - His little brother who he's brought up since he was a child. They get along well enough. Hale family - Hayden was Mason's babysitter so he knows the family through that and still says hi in the streets once in a while when he sees them.

Possible connections:

Best friend {0/1} - Hayden has one friend who he likes to hang out with, they've been friends a very long time, even attending school together, they're thick as thieves. Exes {0/?} - Hayden's love life is very messy, he's known to judge quickly and ditch someone ten minutes into a date by climbing out of a bathroom window. They can be men or women. (SIERRA! HE WILL STAY BI!)
