Inuyasha smirked as he stayed standing on the fence as Vincent asked him if he was hurt. “Keh, you’ll just have to strip me down and check won’t you?” Inu smirked. “Just don’t wriggle too much, I don’t want to drop you by accident.”

On the night of a full moon… Miroku was standing guard over his “human” friend, who was stuck that way until morning. Things were uneventful, which was all well and good and then in a bright flash, this monstrous ape thing appeared.

Raising his shakujo staff, he got ready to banish this demon who had appeared. For now, he stayed quiet, hoping that Grodd would pass them by unnoticed. That would be preferable since Inuyasha couldn’t fight well in this form, and he would do his best, but he ape demon looked massive, so he might as well be tossing tiny stones at the monster.

In hiding, the black haired human Inuyasha growled and balled a fist. Oh, how he hated being helpless like this. He wasn’t strong, he couldn’t hear or smell nearly as well as he could in his normal hanyou form…

“You know after all this time, I’ve never asked if your ears are just as sensitive as mine?”

Inuyasha's ears twitched at her question. "I don't know, how far away can you hear? They are pretty good, but my sense of smell is better I think."

Freezing up as he caught of the demon Vincent didn't complain as the stranger pulled him back. "That's a demon. An actual demon." Seeing the demon attempt to strike the teen acted on reflex throwing the nearest book right into the creature's face. "Why is there a demon here?!"

Inuyasha shook his head as the guy got in his way again. “Idiot, ask questions later.” Inu said letting out a little gasp as the demon attacked again, this time, he threw Vincent to the ground, and got hit by the blast himself. “Are you OK?” Inu asked as he looked at Vincent, fighting through his pain. He’d make sure this guy was alright first and then deal with the threat.

Vincent was busy teaching the village children, unaware of Inuyasha coming up behind him.

Inuyasha smirked as he listened to the lesson for a bit and then smirked as he swept Vincent off his feet. "Don't listen to him kids, he's from a different time and slightly crazy." Inu joked.

Inuyasha grunted a bit as he dragged himself to a cave to rest up until he healed. He really didn’t want to face the others yet anyway, they’d just give him another lecture about rushing off and fighting on his own again. Keh, silly humans, he was trying to protect them from harm!

With nothing else to do, the hanyou began treating his wounds as best as he could, his accelerated healing should take care of the rest in some time.
