Lala is the child of a human and a fae. She has no idea who her parents are as she grew up in an orphanage and was adopted at a young age. Her adoptive parents did wonder about her pointy ears yet thought they made their child more adorable. However, as years passed Lala noticed the difference between herself and other children and eventually, crossed paths with the fair folk. Refusing to go with them, they threatened to slaughter her adoptive parents and wanted to take her forcefully when she eventually caved, leaving with them under one condition: they erase her parents' memories, she stays for one year and forsakes her fairy heritage. Should Lala ever use her magic again, she would have to return.

After one year, Lala found a life of her own again, pursuing a degree only to stumble over a job description that changed her life forever. Ever since, she is working at a small bakery, almost forgetting she herself is truly magical. Lala enjoys everything crafty, cooking and especially baking but still needs to figure out what she wants to do in life, no matter how long her life as a half fae might be in the end.

The thought has crossed her mind so often yet saying it out loud feels kind of unreal to the half fae. "There's a lot to consider. As I am now, I know of the dangers you can meet encountering fae folk, I know how to protect myself and others. So I think I'd only pick this ordinary life if I could at least keep my knowledge. You don't need to be magical to protect yourself and lead a good life so only then, I could pick it."
