Harper expected to open her eyes and see the bland, monochromatic office of her temporary work home. Six months of working in the States on a temporary contract had been a great way to extent her career despite missing Daehyun terribly, but gave him a chance to complete the difficult case he'd taken on without her hovering.
The excitement came rushing back when she opened her eyes to the familiar view of her boyfriend working through his files; her little naps during her lunch break in his office had always been a source of comfort for her. Despite still feeling a little sleepy, she smiled and lazily walked to where he sat at his desk and plopped herself in his lap.
"I missed this," she mumbled as she nuzzled her face in to his neck. "Six months was too long." Not even their hour long face time conversations every night were enough to fill that void inside of her. "Oppa. I'd rather quit my job than leave on another little contract like that again. I can't believe they talked me in to it. I'm happier here with you -- mother and father wondered why I wasn't so perky when I stayed with them, too. You're my family, now."
@dencesin // are we surprised it's Harper (it's been a moment forgive the length)
