*With what Bernadetta had seen along her way here and had begun to see happen to the nice man who had helped her recently she knew she had to do something. Although she was terrified of what was about to happen.*

*Hundreds of groans could be heard echoing the surrounding area, searching for their next victim. It wasn't by chance they had left her alone. Two young men with nearly identical appearance except for the eyes with one having crimson red and the other azure blue approached her.*

GT: " You knew the risk coming here and yet you're here anyway. You're really are a fool.

RT: "Let's hear her out first. After all it's not often anyone willingly comes over to us. Then we can decide what to do."

RT: I suppose someone else has found one of my kind and placed them inside the commander. He's survived the first day with no issues...most humans would have lost their mind by now. Maybe it'll be worth keeping an eye on him after all.

GT: I told you. Despite his lack of cryptoglobin his combat, intelligence and social standing were all reasons we were even considering him as an option. His performance so far from what I can tell have been above expectations.

GT: It didn't feel bad helping with that. Maybe you should see if he could help with your diminishing numbers in another timeline.

RT: I will think about it, though for now I'll just watch and see. After all the commander is just a human, I doubt he would be able to handle the pain.

GT: You'd be surprised at how much pain that commander can take.

"It could be but it's not a great one if I'm being honest. I don't know why else they'd be like that."

*Takumi did actually know the reason, he had taken the pages himself earlier. It seemed to sate the hunger quite a bit. It had only been a short time since he had taken in the Retsnom into his body so it has been an experience but as the team's leader this had been the best course of action.*
