Weโve got four British artists on there (well, I did grow up here), but itโs mostly stuff from across the pond. That said, โEmpire State of Mind (Part II) Broken Downโ was never released in the US, but it was over here, and it was huge (hence itโs on my Spotify master playlist!).
There are songs from four soundtracks (Scream, Twilight, City of Angels and Cruel Intentions), proving that movies make my brain remember songs better.
Also, Iโm currently rewatching Battlestar Galactica, so I had to include Hendrix ๐.

this fic genuinely changed my life! when looking back, i see 10 billion errors (my writing has since improved) but it's also raw and funny and whimsical and honestly, i kinda yearn for that unguarded style. i wrote the first chapter with no plan at all, threw it on ao3, went to bed and woke up with nice comments and someone inviting me to a discord server? and then i made FRIENDS! and met some of them in real life! can never thank past me enough for deciding to throw unedited trash on the internet.

i watched that damn proposal scene, hopped on my laptop and wrote like an absolute demon, and i'm not sure which fic i started first, but both of them were fever dreams of @dustratcentral. i'm always surprised how much people like the ring-in in particular - it's so chaotic and there are so many weird side quests we went on (ode to pokฤ). kinda became my LS hallmark but i don't know if it's necessarily representative of the rest of my fic.

watched tgm for a second time, told @rmd-writes i needed to get this out of my system, wrote it in 4 hours and put it online. tbh i don't like this fic much (save for the premise, which was actually a RMD special that she kindly let me borrow). i think the characterisation sucks, although the dialogue isn't too bad. idk. i feel like i know jake and bradley a lot better now, but i'm also my own worst critic.
