i was the cutest 5-10 year old sister okay

i would pretend to be a puppy and play with her, i'd let her sit on my back and be a horsie, i'd spend hours tell her "henry and cherry" stories (yes i made up my own stories and did all the voices and everything), i'd teach her everything i knew, etc

okay since i honestly cannot think of any pain related ones (HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE I TRIP AND HURT MYSELF SO OFTEN HOW)

when i was little and at my grandparents, i used to religiously go into the living room at night, stare up at their motion sensor (it would light up red and it looked like an eye to me), and pray for a little sister

family members would come in and check on me and ask if i was okay, and i would always be so sincere and honest and "i want a little sister!" 

and then my little sister was born, and i got to name her and everything

the first time i saw her, i remember saying something like "she looks like a moneky" and feeling a strange sense of disappointment

and then after my mom came home (or technically we stayed at my grandparents for a while after sibling was born), i apparently guarded the stairs up to their room and tried to get people to sign a form before they could go see my sister (just like the hospital) 

then, a few years later, she did something i really didn't like and i said "it's all my fault! i prayed for her" or something and my mom has never let me forget that for a single minute since
