One day, at the Hakurei Shrine...

A black rift suddenly opened up, spitting out a strange horned person who lands face first onto the porch of the shrine. She had bright pink hair and goat-like horns, a similarly goat-like tail poking out from the back of her dress. She quickly picked herself up, looking around and starting to do an odd little dance excitedly.

"Whoooo~! So this is it! Gensokyo~! Ehehehe, I wonder what kinds of gods are here~...!" She giggled excitedly, wiggling back and forth before pausing, feeling someone's eyes on her.

"Oh~? Could it be that I've already found one~!?" She looked Reimu over excitedly, zipping around her like a particularly intrigued and hyperactive fly.

other way around actually the robot is projecting a holographic humansona around her body she is in fact a robot

And immediately my interest is rekindled.

She doesn't need that, she's perfect just the way she is.

“...I was hoping Hibiki was pulling a prank on me. Somehow.” 

She knew it wasn’t but Miku just didn’t want it to be real. But she was here already so...guess she had no choice. Without another word, Miku stepped back and gave her room to come inside.

She watched as the little Caprinae cheerfully went on about the following summer and their upcoming vacation of sorts and decides to keep her mouth shut at the idea they were all going. Certainly, there were plenty of things to be done, while Eyjafjalla’s weren’t any less important, she’d taken to pile herself with work - and potential leads and tasks from Director Kal’tsit. Even if the idea of seeing the two - or well, three, assuming that lab bird would stay out of her lab long enough - women outside and playing in the sand would be quite appealing, she couldn’t promise she would be going.   

“I see. So, you’re well prepared then? Sunscreen and all?”

Reimu can cook!!

Well... rice with an egg on top still does count as basic cooking, so maybe Reimu still has hope-

he doesn’t understand why she chooses to stop by again and again. there’s better things for her to do, better people for her to meet. he knows and hears the whispers in the hallways. there’s plenty of others who’d like to hear her tales, and it’s a struggle for her. he’s sees how she gets around, and it’s worse than him. he needs the cane to support himself to stand and walk, she needs help seeing.

but, he doesn’t ask her why she’s doing this. he doesn’t want her to stop, but he doesn’t want to say that he likes her visits. it’s a change from the monotony, and she reminds him of someone just as soft. maybe that’s why he lets her in. maybe that’s why he finds himself standing by the door way, looking down the hallway. she’s supposed to be here around now, right? he glances at the time. she’s usually here by now.

     Even in the hectic state of the world, with so much still in such a mess and so much still to be done, one thing was not going to change-- Hibiki Tachibana always, always, did her best to make time for good friends. 

     It’s with this in mind that she’s eagerly skittering down the sidewalk, sneakers clattering hastily against the pavement as she rounds corner after corner until she finally comes to a screeching halt just outside of Chris’s door. Maybe she was a little over-enthused, but it was hard not to be! Days like this meant a lot to a girl like Hibiki, always so wrapped up in it all.

     “Chris-chaaaaaan--!!” Hibiki chimes eagerly as she knocks on the door. “Are ya ready to go get lunch?”
