#Repost @museum44 ・・・ Today we incorporated an authentic Asante Mask from West Africa in Ghana. We had our young people sit in a circle and we utilized the mask as a talking piece. They learned the importance of respecting the speaker who held the mask, and why they should be attentive while listening. They also learned that the mask is used to share power and that everyone in the circle has value and importance.
