Known Cycles, Unbroken

Sans walked slowly along with Frisk. He wasn’t in a particular hurry to get this conversation over with, as necessary as it was. It’d be easy to let it slide, like he had so many times before. It was easy to just let go. But, something had changed. Sans couldn’t entirely say what it was, but something prompted him to actually speak this time.
Frisk’s pun startled him into laughing. “heh. guess you saw right through me.” He winked at them. “yeah, i’ve got a bone to pick.” He stopped as they reached a nice spot to look out on things from. “a whole world out there.” Sans looked over to Frisk. “it’d be amazing to see it. but that’s really up to you. isn’t it?” Okay, he was dancing around the subject. He just needed to spit it out. “are you satisfied with this? or...are you planning another reset?”
She couldn’t look him in the eye sockets, hend going to fidget with the locket hanging around her neck. “I really want you all to see it- i really really do. I can promise this much- I’m not planning anything. I’m not planning on dragging everyone back.” that wasn’t a guarantee it wouldn’t happen, though.
“...how well do you know? how solid is your recollection...?" did he remember a falling head, and unfair slash? that’s what the last was- the death and senseless destruction- the dust. there was a blink- no, don’t think on the past, don’t give it room to manifest.
She needed to know what topics would bring more harm than good.
