though while she’d only been here for a day or so, her curiosity burns once more. although she hoped that she would be granted her eternal rest, it seems she’d been given the opposite. today, her eyes have been locked onto a computer. with no clue to it’s mechanics, nor to how it works, she supposed that the best way to learn about such .. advancements in technology ( even if it’s not the ascension she’d put so much effort into ) should be to ask.

and thus, she stood by the computer -- and as someone made near her, hold her arm up with the slightest of waves, hoping to catch attention.  ❝ salutations -- by chance, would you be so kind as to tell me what this is ?  ❞

░; ♡ yes, yes, one other hour of roaming across the halls. ever so intricately decorated with only the best of shades and furniture. though, it wasn’t as spacious as some areas she’d already been to before-- the cheireiden comes to mind immediately--, but it wasn’t as occupied as this was.  the panic that had settled in with those who just arrived alongside her--, it was something she hoped had extinguished by now. she assumes it’s just yet another ‘human’ feeling she can understand, but never quite... feel. sympathy and empathy were an off topic for the mindless yokai.

░; ♡ the thought drifted in milliseconds, as she spun on the hilt of her heel. quite abruptly, flocking to the next person she saw. the taps of her shoes could be barely audible as she approached scott! only to ruin her complete immersion with the glittering surroundings with a greeting.

░; ♡  ❝ hello ! you dont mind if you stay here for long, do you ?  ♡ ❞ ... she likely didn’t notice how off she sounded-- the notes in her words emphasizing things on random. in a pattern that made no sense, or capable of realizing just how strange she put it.

Friends Reunited

musewoven for Quinn

Kara had woken up in the room dazed and confused ... She hand made her way down to the lobby to try to find some way of figuring out where she was.  She saw nobody was at the reception desk at the moment so she made her way over to the restaurant area to have a drink. Sure, she couldn’t get drunk often... But now was one of those times that she really wished she could....

She had barely made it into the restaurant when she heard her name called and saw her friend Quinn. They had Skyped and became good friends over the web.  Funny how that turned out.... Maybe after this was all sorted, she would spend a bit of time with Quinn in her city for a bit.  But that was another story for another day....  She made her way over to Quinn and smiled “Well isn’t this a surprise”She stated as she looked at her friend who was sitting in the booth.
