My grandparents had special "Iditarod" jackets they wore all during Rondy and at the start of @theiditarod. As #ITCMembers they got a patch (and a pin) every year. Each year Gma would sew that year's patch onto the jackets. When Gma had her stroke in 2009, the sewing stopped but GPa still got patches hoping for better times later. . They ended up in the box with his pins. I have their jackets, and I have the patches.
