Sour Gummy and Energy Drinks
@mushinkxi
There was just those nights that sleep evaded him. No matter how he tried and no matter how tired he was, his body wouldn’t relax enough to fall asleep. Sometimes there was just an itching beneath his skin. Or even hidden bouts of anxiousness that he didn’t dare express to anyone, keeping it quiet and to himself. Whatever the case may be, he nearly always ended up doing the same thing.
Draped in the bagginess of an oversized sweatshirt and sweatpants, not wanting to ever bother with the garments that hide his curved figure this late. His feet knew the path to this little convenience store even if his mind went on vacation and he could trust his body to operate on autopilot. He always went for the same thing and it never failed. By this point, the sales clerk knew him well but that was fine.
More so for the passing of time than out of any necessity, Suga would always wander the aisles. He always got the same small package of sour gummy candies and nothing else. Yet he would take the time to look at every shelf, up and down before moving on to the next one. This routine was what usually helped so he saw no reason to change it.
Nothing about it ever changed. For the most part. Hardly ever was there anyone in when he was, sensible people being asleep instead of out in the middle of the night. That was something he could at least count on. But tonight was different. A vaguely familiar set of broad shoulders and scowling face could be seen at the other end of the aisle and he wondered if it was appropriate to approach. Somehow instead he ended up just staring. Truly he had to be tired, manners leaving him completely.
