“Ta-daaaah~!” She holds out a small bag. “Do you remember the book you were looking for? Well, I found the sequel to it~! I thought you might like it.”

Ai let out a content sigh as the other softly stroked his head. There was something oddly soothing about the action itself. Ai wondered what it was but simply shrugged it off. For now this was his content moment and he wouldn’t change it for the world.

“Are you quite alright? You’ve been acting a tad strange lately. Are you seeing your doctor regularly?” He hadn’t stopped the movement against his head however, but he did take a glance over at him for a moment for a response.

The shadow had finally gotten the courage to go to the birthday boy. Had he been pacing back and forth in the lobby, debating on whether or not to finally go through with his plan? Satsuki had been planning this for a while. At first, it was going to be on Christmas, then New Years, Valentine’s day... Each time, it didn’t feel like the right time.

However, today was different. He felt different. His first thought of this morning was of the other (which is normal) but as well as his plan. He felt a bit nervous. Strange... to feel nervous again, like he did so much at the beginning. It all came full circle. With a chuckle, he opened the door that separated the two. The shadow was finally home. He looked around, finding the other curled up on the couch, his cat comfortably on his lap. Liz, Satsuki’s puppy, was lying on his bed, fast asleep. He chuckled at the scene before coming up from behind the couch, leaning down to kiss the top of his head. “Hello.”

        “Hehe~! Ai-senpai actually likes me..~!”

“Hey, Mikaze-san, you don’t have anything to do today work wise, right?” It looked like he didn’t, otherwise he would’ve been on a set already, right? Still, maybe she would offer some sort escape from work, at least for today.

“Do you...um...do you want to come out with me? It’s getting a little cold so...I..I was going to go buy some new clothes, maybe somethings for Halloween...”

“There was no reason other than I wanted to.” Ai responded, his face remaining as blank as the tone in his voice. “Is that wrong?”

“..you are quite strange. It appears even I cannot get through to that..’brain’ of yours. The simple fact alone that you did it because you ‘wanted’ to makes me question you further. Have you any attraction to me?”
