Mawu and Liza
It occured to me how much their inverted black/white outfits evoke yin and yang.
Then I remembered their names come from this:
Mawu (alternately: Mahu) is a creator goddess, associated with the sun and moon in Dahomey mythology. In some myths, she is the twin sister-wife of the male god Lisa; in others, both deities are aspects of the same androgynous or two-spirited deity, Mawu-Lisa.

So although, as Muses, they’re both female, there’s a strong correlation here with balanced male-female aspects.
I’m not sure what exactly that would mean to them, or make them Muses of, but it doesn’t seem as if it’s accidental.
