You had been thrilled when you found out you got the part.
Playing Wonder Woman had been a dream of yours and you were making the most of it.
Now that a movie about the Justice League was going to be made, you had the chance to act opposite great stars, and you were trying hard not to let your nerves get to you.
The first time you met him, you were both already in costume, and he was super (pun totally intended) professional.
He was also funny, smart, and smelled amazing.
The chairs where you waited in between takes were quite close, and throughout filming a friendship bloomed.
The days you had free were few and far between, so you made the most of every opportunity, going out to bars, sushi restaurants and clubs. Unfortunately, you two were rarely alone.
The last day of filming came and despite having said your goodbyes to everyone on set, you wanted to give Henry a proper goodbye.
It was after dusk when you knocked on the door of his trailer, and the loud barking was the first greeting you got.
"Hi there, come on in." He said over the noise, going back into the trailer to hold Kal back.
"I hope I'm not disturbing you." You said quietly.
"Not at all! I was just checking my phone. Have a seat." He gestured to the sofa, on the corner.
"I cannot stay long. My flight leaves soon."
"You're leaving tonight still?" He was quite surprised by what you said.
"Yes, I have an audition the day after tomorrow and I don't want to look too jet lagged." You smiled apologetically.
"I see." There was a hint of sadness in his voice, but his face betrayed nothing.
"So, I just wanted to thank you. You were such a great coworker and I enjoyed our conversations quite a lot. Being so far from home, you made me feel so welcomed..." You paused and looked at your feet.
You saw his feet approaching you and lifted your head. He was very close and towered over you. His eyes shone brightly as he examined yours, and he rested his hands above your elbows.
"You must," he started slowly "you must know by now that you are much more than a coworker to me."
You felt his hot breath fanning your forehead, making goosebumps erupt all over you, and didn't dare move.
"Thank you." You said, almost whispering. "Knowing how we're treated by this industry, it's good to know I have a friend."
He was shaking his head before you were done speaking.
"You misunderstand me." He said and pursed his lips. "Perhaps I must show you, how much you mean to me."
You were again rooted in place and watched as his amused frown softened into a smirk.
He looked down and to the side. Heaving a deep sigh, he looked back into your eyes and leaned toward you.
His forehead touched yours softly, and it was your turn to sigh.
He gave you a kunik and captured your lips in his, softly, briefly.
He pulled his face back slightly to look at your eyes once more, and then put both hands on either side of your head as he caught your lips again, this time sliding the tip of his tongue on your upper lip and eliciting a moan from you.
As your tongues met a fire was lit inside you. Your hands grabbed fistfuls of his hair, pulling him closer, as his hands snaked down your back and stopped at your waist, pulling your body flush against his.
Your tongues coiled around each other and sang of longing to know the other intimately.
You could have kissed him forever.
Your name being called in the distance broke through the dreamworld you found yourself in.
He gave you a last kiss on the lips.
"You have my number. This isn't over." He said while still holding you by the waist.
"Now that I've got you, I'm not giving you up that easily." You said with a smirk.
He let go of you and you staggered back a little.
"Call me when you land."
"I will."
You smiled at his smile and left his trailer.
You had never felt so light in your life.
Your P.A. found you two minutes later.
"Where have you been, we'll be la... what's going on?" Her puzzled face made you laugh.
"Nothing. Let's go. I said goodbye to everyone." You couldn't help the grin plastered on your face.
"Okay. It's just... never have goodbyes made you glow." She waved her hands around as if to signal your aura.
"Don't be silly. It's just my highlighter." You still couldn't stop smiling.
"Yeah right."
