قَالَ سَـَٔاوِىٓ إِلَىٰ جَبَلٍ يَعْصِمُنِى مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ ۚ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ ۚ وَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُغْرَقِينَ
“He said, "I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water." Nuh said, "There is no protector today from the decree of Allah, except for whom He gives mercy.“ {11:43}
Allah will test us. Time and time and time again. Some tests may be greater than others. Regardless of its magnitude, every test comes in waves. And in the midst of all the chaos, you’re calling and pleading for help. The waves are crashing over. You look around. You realise there’s no one there.
In that moment, just when you think you’re about to drown, there’s no one around, out of His Love and Mercy, in the distance you will see His ship sailing the sea. Board it. Did you really think Allah would leave you to drown? He heard your cries. As long as you call out to Him, each and every time, He will send His ship enveloping you in His love and saving you until the test settles and the waves die out...
