London terror attack: van hits Muslim worshippers at Finsbury Park
The world is spiralling out of control and becoming an even more dangerous place to live by the day. This morning, a van ploughed into Muslim worshippers at Finsbury Park – a big Muslim community.
In what is being described by the Metropolitan Police as a “major incident”, it is believed that the van intentionally ran over the worshippers as they were leaving evening prayers at Finsbury Park Mosque.
Eye witness reports state that the man shouted “I want to kill as many Muslims as I can!” before running amok, and Home Secretary Amber Rudd has confirmed that it is being treated by police as a “terrorist incident”.
An eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind; Londoners – leaders and citizens alike have condemned the terror attack on innocent people who were just worshipping.
So far, one man has died and 10 people have been injured, but a 48-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Uncle Jezza (Jeremy Corbyn) has already released a statement saying “An attack on a mosque, an attack on a church, an attack on a synagogue, is an attack on ALL of us.”
And from a non-Muslim white Londoner, we have this vehement statement, “Leave OUR Muslim communities alone.”
We will not let the minority lead the majority to hate. We will not be bowed, bent or broken. This is London, this is Great Britain, and sooner or later, the terrorists on either side will have to learn that there simply must be tolerance and community spirit. They will NOT have their way.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the residents of Finsbury Park this morning, and we shall overcome this.
