Muslim group serves 'Kanwariyas', giving foot massage and medical aid

Devotees of Lord Shiva from crosswise over India goes to Haridwar and Gomukh by walking with holy water . The camps have been set up in Muzaffarnagar where the Kanwariyas are being offered food and foot massage to make them relax after walking such a long distance. Shadab Khan, head of Awaz-E-Haq, said, "We are setting up camps for Kanwariyas for a long time, where arrangements of food, medical aid and different things are made."

"Our Muslim brothers also give a foot massage to all the Kanwariyas who are exhausted on their long journey; all things considered, they are our brother. I don't care less what people will think or say about it, we as a whole are humans and humanity should be our priority." The people from the minority community have a long history of helping the devotees amid the Kanwar Yatra, however Muzaffarnagar riots harmed the well established thread between religion. Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarnagar, Anant Dev Tiwari stated, "Tries are being done to unite every one of the community with the help of community policing.
