Day 46 – Mussel Beach
We woke up early today for our COVID test. It was free and we were seen immediately as we had made an appointment. S was still feeling unwell, so he went back to bed.
J’s parents arrived today from the west coast of Florida. They brought some Asian food with them, which was quickly eaten and then took J on some errands.
J and her parents returned to Mel’s house so we could all head to Mussel Beach restaurant together. We had our engagement party at Mussel Beach in 2015, so it’s great to be able to return. We had a reservation for 12 and Mussel Beach was just as good as we remembered. Their menu is extensive and all the food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we took some nice family photos. Some of the standouts were the truffle parmesan fries, lobster grilled cheese, American style shrimp cocktail (perfection) and Mussel Beach seafood pot (see pictures below).
S received his negative COVID test. J is freaking out as hers hasn’t arrived yet.
