    IT WAS HARD FOR ROWAN TO SETTLE HER MIND TONIGHT. A MILLION THOUGHTS RUNNING WILD THROUGH HER MIND.  it was just a simple thought that came to her months ago. simple was taking it lightly. it was a thought that haunted her for such a period of time. she never wanted to get married. she didn’t think she was the marriage or serious relationship type. but then trent came into her life, and everything changed. he changed her in ways she didn’t think possible for herself. it scared her. 

she looked over to his softly snoring form next to her in her bed, and the feeling intensified. her heart thundered against her chest and she knew she wasn’t getting any sleep tonight. as scared as she was, she knew what she wanted and she was determined. “ trent, ” she said, gently shoving at his arm as she sat up. a louder snort escaped him, but the brit didn’t wake up. growling softly in frustration, she shoved him harder this time. “ trent, wake up! ” her voice boomed. she needed him awake. right now.

she needed to do this now.

"i am hopelessly,  irretrievably in love with her" / Trent and Iris cause them gossiping about Rowan!!!

   A WARMTH SPREAD WITHIN IRIS AND A LARGE SMILE STRETCHED OVER HER LIPS.  his confession of such a deep love for her sister made her happier than she could imagine. though, she and rowan didn’t have the greatest relationship yet, her happiness meant the world to iris. no matter what, no matter how little she actually knew her sister; she loved her and to know that trent loved her this much was important to her and she was ecstatic he shared his feelings with her.

“ you do? ” she asked excitedly, unconsciously reaching out and gripping the older man’s hand. “ that’s really amazing, trent! i’m so happy for you. and her. for both of you! have you told rowan how you feel yet? ”

   HIS LIPS WERE WARM UPON HER NECK, HIS BEARD SCRATCHING AT HER SKIN IN A DISTURBINGLY SATISFYING WAY.  a desperate moan pushed past her lips, her hand burying into his silvery locks of hair while her other gripped tightly onto his arm. she wanted him to get closer, she wanted to feel more of him. so much more. this didn’t feel like it was enough.

“ trent… ” she panted his name, her fingers suddenly tugging his hair and pulling his head back, his lips being forced off her neck. the absence of them made her feel cold and she shivered slightly. but she gazed into his eyes with a wildness in her own and her tone was firm when she spoke. “ more. ”

Dances with / trent @ rowan ; give me the cute!

    INITIALLY ROWAN WAS ANNOYED THAT THERE WAS A DANCE FLOOR IN THE BAR THEY DECIDED TO GO TO.  like, how cheesy was that? why couldn’t bars just be alcohol and mediocre food? her irritation only grew when trent grabbed her hand and had to practically drag her to where other dancers were. “ trent… i’m not a good dancer. ” she hissed, feeling a blush burn her cheeks realizing a slow song was playing.

she felt like such a kid. though, she tensed only slightly when his free hand moved to the small of her back, pulling her body close to his. the hand pressed firmly there to keep her in place while his other hand gently held one of hers as they slowly swayed to the music. “ this is stupid… ” she grumbled, but she felt herself ease after a moment. then after another moment, her head rested on his shoulder. it felt a lot nicer than she cared to admit. everything with him did always did. “ so stupid. ”

    WITH TRENT, EVERYTHING WAS A LITTLE EASIER AND HARDER ALL AT ONCE FOR ROWAN.  she wasn’t the type to get close or form everlasting bonds. she liked to keep everyone at arms length, she liked to have control. but with him, simple fucking seemed to turn into something more and he managed sneak his way into her life and just become a part of it. and somehow all the drama with iris seemed to get him even more involved and active in her life. she wanted to hate it, she wanted to push him away and remind him that this couldn’t be any more than what it was; two people just having casual sex with each other. but, she never really did. at least not successfully. apparently, her bad attitude and snappish behavior wasn’t enough to turn him off. he was always there.

like right now, just sitting there with her in her apartment, talking to her. it almost felt like they were in a relationship, which only made her anxious. and she almost missed what he just said to her. she wished she had missed what he said. she felt her heart drop down into her stomach and she looked over at him, brows scrunched together in confusion.

“ uhh.... what did you just say? ” she asked a little more harshly than she intended, but she was really hoping that her mind was playing tricks on her and she had misheard. because if he really just dropped the ‘ L ’ word on her, she might just hit him.

“Hold still— I need to clean it.” / trent & rowan

   BLOOD WAS DRIPPING DOWN FROM HER FOREHEAD AND NEARLY SLIDING INTO HER EYES,  but still rowan attempted to bat trent’s hands away from cleaning her wound. she was never an easy person to deal with when injuries occurred ( one would argue she wasn’t an easy person to deal with in general ), but she honestly thought the cut hadn’t been that bad when she had been in the ring. the match was brutal and she held nothing back, bleeding head and all. she barely felt the open wound then. “ it’s not tha’ bad, trent. ” her tone a little slurred, and her vision was getting a tad blurry now. “ is jus’ a scratch. stop fussin’. ”
