The Update that No One Asked For!
So, the internet’s back. More or less. Yay internet! It was out for around a week, but by then I was already out of the habit of posting stuff. Whoops. I’m going to try and start posting things again.
I’m still working on Loomis, although I’m not doing it daily. Which I definitely should be. I’m a musician, I should be capable of grasping the importance of daily practice if I want to improve at something... :-)
I got some new watercolor stuff! I’m super geeked about it! Watercolor is fun! I might do a post about it, just because it makes me happy :-) I tried messing around with colored pencils, but I just sort of instinctively like watercolor better, so I think I’ll stick with that for the time being. Pencil drawing and watercolor seems like enough to be getting on with for learning basics like I am. I’m starting to get a better feel for how they behave, which translates to better control, which is always a plus. Still very much enjoying it, so that’s really the bottom line :-)
Also, starting to get back into my fountain pens more. Since school ended, I haven’t needed to make up my “daily sheets” (literally a page I make up each day for planning stuff). Since those pages were my primary use for my pens, I haven’t been using them as much :-( But I like sketching with them, and journaling, so that’s a plus :-)
